| In the year 1552, at the order of King Gustav Vasa, Sweden began manufacturing gunpowder. Åkers Krutbruk was established, fulfilling the king's mandate and ensuring the defence of the nation. |
Today we are a leader in protection solutions e.g. mine protection, ballistic protection, add-on armour and spall liner system. Our tailormade concepts - designed for land, air and naval platforms - are used all over the world, safeguarding personnel on humanitarian, observation and peacekeeping missions. We are a part of the international IBD - Deisenroth Engineering group. |
